Getting Started

What is Widgetsify?

Widgetsify is a growing library of simple, embeddable tools for your website — things like Instagram feeds, interactive maps and an SEO scanner, with more added regularly. Build a tool on our site, copy one script tag, paste it into your page, done.

Do I need an account to try a tool?

No. You can browse the full tool library and build with any tool without registering. Building, editing and previewing are free and open to guests. You only need a free account at the point you want your embed code — that's the one step that requires signing up, so your work is tied to you and saved for later.

How do I add a widget to my site?

Every tool gives you a small <script> tag once your embed code is unlocked. Paste it wherever you want the widget to appear — in a Joomla article/module, a WordPress page, Wix embed block, Shopify theme file, or plain HTML. No plugins or app installs required on your end.

Which platforms does it work on?

Any website that lets you paste HTML/JavaScript: Joomla, WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, or a hand-coded site. The embed code is self-contained and doesn't depend on the platform underneath.

Plans & Pricing

Is it free?

Yes — every tool has a genuinely usable Free plan with its own limits (number of items you can create, monthly views, etc.). You can run a small site entirely on Free plans if your needs are modest.

How does pricing work?

Each tool is priced and upgraded separately, a few euros a month per tool, billed through Paddle. You only pay for the tools you actually use — there's no bundle requirement, and Pro on one tool doesn't affect the others.

Can I use multiple tools?

Yes, as many as you like, each on its own Free or Pro plan. Your dashboard shows everything you've built across every tool in one place.

How do I upgrade to Pro?

From your Dashboard, open the tool you want to upgrade and click Upgrade. Checkout is handled by Paddle, our payment provider — they process the payment and act as the merchant of record, including VAT/tax where applicable.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Manage your subscription from the Dashboard ("Manage subscription") — cancel any time, no minimum term. Your Pro access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, then the tool reverts to its Free plan (your content isn't deleted, just limited again).

Using Your Widgets

Where do I find my embed code?

Log in and open your Dashboard — every widget you've created has a "Copy code" button next to it.

Can I edit a widget after creating it?

Yes, any time. Open it from your Dashboard, change what you need, and save — the live embed on your site updates automatically, no need to re-paste the code.

Will it slow down my website?

Widgets load asynchronously (they don't block the rest of your page from rendering) and the embed scripts are kept small on purpose.

Can I use the same widget on more than one website?

Yes, unless you've turned on domain locking for that widget (an optional setting that restricts it to one domain, useful if you're worried about someone copying your embed code). Without domain locking, the same embed code works anywhere.

What happens if I hit my plan's view limit?

Widgets on a Free plan that reach their monthly view limit show a small upgrade notice to visitors instead of the content, until the limit resets the next month or you upgrade to Pro (which raises or removes the limit depending on the tool).

Privacy & Data

Is it GDPR-friendly?

Widgets that load third-party content (like map tiles) support an optional "click-to-load" mode, so nothing loads or sets cookies until your visitor actively interacts with the widget. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

What happens to widgets I build as a guest?

They're kept in your browser session while you're building. Once you sign up or log in, anything you built as a guest is automatically attached to your new account — nothing to redo. If you never sign up, unclaimed guest drafts are eventually discarded.
